Welcome to our New Look for the Alley Cat PRE-LAUNCH NEWSLETTER.

Each week I will have a newsletter for you. Filled with Articles on such topics as MLM, Affiliate programs, ways to make money online, how to build your business online and offline, Updated news on Internet business, Investing, trading and MUCH MORE!

Each week will be packed with information to help you build or grow your business. Whether you are looking for Part time or full time income it can help.

Make your Website Stand Out!

Whether you have your own domain name advertising your business or just an mlm referral page you need it to stand out from the competition. Here are a few ways to increase your income without spending a lot of money.

1. Make your Website Domain stand out. With many domain names being snapped up years ago, a lot of people are trying to tell a whole story with their domain name. Some have become 5,6,7 word domain names. Which can be ok but they don't always stand out and sometimes letters run together its harder to read etc.. A simple yet very effective way to help your reader find your site is being able to "see" the domain name. Tell me if you get a text ad what stands out to you more?

If you are like me the one that has the capital letter for each word stands out much more than the all lower case letters. They both go to the same page but the one may get noticed more then the other. Also with so much competition wanting to go to so many websites it would be nice to have just a small advantage over others.
Even if you are in an mlm you could have the upper hand over other distributors with that simple technique.

2. Do you have a website that has Google Adsense on it? If so would you like the Click Thru Rate to be higher? (I personally have not tried this however on a couple of forums have heard it has produced well.) Basically you would put a small appropriate image just above each ad that you have on your site. A persons eye maybe drawn to the image and may see the ad and think it is something they would like to look into so they click the ad and you earn $$$. I am by no means an expert in adsense but if you get some hits on your site you could make some extra money each month. Here is a forum that is discussing the image above the ads option.

3. Another way to gain some traffic to your website, (Whether affiliate site or your own domain) is write an article about your site, product, program etc..
This isn't as hard as you may think.
Let's say its an MLM that you joined. You have a great product and great compensation plan. You really really like this program it is something you can see yourself doing 6-12 months from now. Not just a get rich quick program but a legit program.

An article doesn't have to be that long a page or two 200-400 words and if you really have a passion for the company/product you should be able to whip that out in an hour or so. You would have the nuts and bolts down and you could change the little things on a re-write. Some things could be either your experience or someone you knows experience with the product or company. For example....
This Widget is tremendous it has done XYZ for me since I started using it on Jan.5 2006. It has saved me a great deal because I haven't had to take ZYX. It is an amazing product. I have researched and have taken many similar products but this is head and shoulders above the rest. Another example and maybe throw in some income examples. REAL WORLD not just hypothetical stuff but stuff that you have done or real life results that someone you know has done. Make it PERSONAL! Newsletters are looking for filler all the time and even if you got in 1 newsletter a month that had 1000 subscribers that is well worth the hour or two to write the article. Don't make it a total sales pitch just some facts on the product or company. Submit it to the article websites and contact a few newsletters who you feel may enjoy it. (YES YOU CAN EVEN SEND IT TO ME MAYBE I WILL INCLUDE IT.)

4. If you are in an affiliate program or MLM buy your own domain! If you are going to be serious about marketing your mlm or affiliate business consider buying your own domain name. You can get them for less than $10 a YEAR! And all you have to do is have the domain forwarded to your affiliate site. Which is very easy to do and you can forget about it. But then you would just advertise your new domain name instead of the LONG affiliate site. It not only looks more professional but people that already know about your company may go to your site instead of an affiliate page. If you are going to spend $50,$100, $500 to join a company at least spend $10 on a domain to make it look better.

How to Write Articles and Submit Articles That Get Read

In addition to maintaining blogs, writing articles is a great way to get noticed. People crave information and will search their favorite places for it. They will also subscribe to news feeds and article announcements in their chosen categories.

When writing articles, keep them informative and use a spell checker. Keeping the paragraphs short will make your article easier to read. If it is written well, it will be saved and referenced many times over.

To start writing, I reference a list of topics that I continue adding to when the ideas come to mind. When I see a problem, something that can help others, or a topic that hasn’t been covered well, that can be written about in detail, I will make a note of it, to be researched when putting the article together.

From there I write an rough outline. Then read through it several times to see how to can be worded differently or organized better for easy of reading or to make it flow better.

Once I’m happy with it, I’ll send it to some friends or colleagues to get their opinion before making it public. Once the article is ready and has my small group’s seal of approval, I’ll post it to my blog. In the next time spot scheduled for marketing, the article can be submitted to article directories.

At the end of the article you’ll write a “Resource Box” - a brief overview of your primary services and a link to get more information. The Resource Box should be kept to a maximum of 255 characters including your link.

If your article is written well and submitted to the article directories, your article could be published on other sites too, which others will link to. Have you heard of the ‘Domino Effect’? It works here. Write great articles and soon you’ll be well known in the topics you write in.

The list below is not 100% complete but is a good start. There are also software packages that help make the submission process easier. A search on Google for “free article submission software” (quotes included) returns enough results to help you choose one that is right for you.
