Well it is December, I had planned a HUGE contest for this month lasting a couple of weeks. But due to travel plans mid-late December and other things that need my attention the December contest will be only a 1 week contest. But we have a lot of prizes and everyone that is an Alley Cat reader is eligible to win.

I do hope to have the Alley Cat contest every month but will see how it fits in with the other Alley Cat work that goes on.

E-CURRENCY NEWS

E-GOLD IS BACK UP!!!!

Actually the site was back up a few hours after our last newsletter went out, which is good news for everyone. It did close a few game programs though due to the ponzi side of some of the games.

HYIP PROGRAMS

Fox Investments (http://www.fox-investments.com) had too high of a minimum for the $200 Test program however we did put $100 into the program. Fox Investments made the payment of 6.5% last week after E-gold fixed their issues. However Fox site is still down and no communications from them as they usually send out an update on Mondays. I have sent them an email with no response. I have phoned them and get the message..."The All-star customer you are trying to reach has switched off their phone or is not in the coverage area" I have also faxed them this morning and have yet to receive a response. If I don't hear anything by the time next newsletter is to be written I will forward the DD information that I have on Fox Investments for anyone that is interested. As it stands right now we have received 25% back in interest of the $100 invested.

Could it be that another holiday season and more high profile programs bite the dust. (Fox Investments if they actually fold and Brideby continues to seem to have problems.)

The BIG ANNOUNCEMENT that I had planned for December is going to have to wait until January. It isn't something that I wanted to do but it isn't ready to be announced and with the time constraints I will have due to the holidays along with other Alley Cat projects that need to be dealt with the best option is to announce it in January.

Doesn't seem like people are able to get withdrawals out of Brideby. The problems have started a few weeks ago with changes in rules. Another Holiday season slow death? Time will tell hopefully those of you that are in the program will be able to get at least something out of it.

We feel that in order to get our hard earned money they need to show us they are for real with the DD. WE ARE NOT SAYING that any program that doesn't provide us with the DD is a scam however we feel it is wiser to only invest when we know the DD of the company. If there are other HYIP newsletters or sites that have the DD we mentioned on the company and are willing to release it if the company has problems that is another bonus to HYIP investors.

The average HYIP investor who has $2000 or less to invest shouldn't be in more than 5-10 different programs to start off. And there are enough of those good programs out there that will allow Due Diligence, actually trade/gamble/pool your funds. I mean if your really looking to make money in the industry why mess with the scam programs. If you don't want to trade yourself, at least pick decent programs that ACTUALLY Invest YOUR money.

THE $200 TEST

JUST BECAUSE WE INVEST IN THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS IN NO WAY MEANS WE ENDORSE OR GUARANTEE PAYMENTS FROM THE PROGRAMS. WE ARE INVESTORS JUST LIKE YOU. WE HAVE DONE SOME INITIAL HYIP SCREENING BUT YOU NEED TO DO ADDITIONAL RESEARCH. WE WILL END UP GETTING SCAMMED BY SOME PROGRAMS THAT WE INVEST IN. THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS. HOWEVER WITH GOOD MONEY MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH HOPEFULLY WE WILL MAKE A PROFIT IN THE END.

All programs that we invest $$$ in for the $200 TEST, we have the program Admin. Phone #, Copy of Driver's License, and copy of utility bill. We do Due Diligence on all programs that we invest our money into.

Due to the fact that we may be adding some additional programs to the $200 Test we decided to preserve our capital and have not made any new spends to any program at this time. Over the last week or so they have been doing much better with there picks. We will probably revisit them when our new DD site is up.

We bet $15 per trade. We limit ourselves to 2 losses in a row. We are going to stop playing daily trades for a little while we still have a net profit overall with them however we may have other $200 Test programs coming on soon so we are going to save some capital for that.

We have entered this program with a $40 deposit. We are going to compound each week for at least a month or two at which time we will make a withdrawal of some of the profits. For the purposes of the $200 Test any interest earned for the week will be included.

Steady Growth Traders (SGT) returned 4% profit this week.

(Some losses are from Fall of 2002. Those companies are no longer listed on the $200 Test, however there losses were included in the above NET Results overall.)

We aren't too active right now in the DD programs and the $200 test due to the fact we are in kind of a wait and see mode with the new DD enhancements that may be coming down the road.
