GOLD PRICES/NEWS

Gold prices continue to roll since the last newsletter. They blasted through the $473 resistance that I talked about in the last newsletter. Gold got over $500 an ounce briefly as well.

On the daily charts I would like to see Gold stay above $477. Obviously Gold is still in an uptrend; where it ends I don't know.

I was playing around with Betonmarkets the other day and for kicks, I bought a "Bull" contract on Gold. It has to be above $589 an ounce on May 29, 2006 and I will win. It was an extremely small bet. Actually it was just an $8.50 risk to win $250 or 2800% return if I am right. I really haven't given it much thought but I figured the risk/reward was worth it for 8 bucks. It isn't anything I would bet a lot on but will keep things interesting for me for the next 6 months.

Over the last 6 months gold has gone from $420 to almost $500 which is $80 an ounce so maybe over the next 6 months, it will see $600. I have no idea but the risk/reward was worth it to me.
