GOLD PRICES/NEWS
Gold prices are in an interesting area. I can't really see any real direction right now in the daily charts for Gold. Obviously they have gone down over the last few weeks but as far as an idea where they may be headed, it's hard to say. I will say however that on the weekly chart, $420 an ounce is pretty important. If we close below $420 an ounce, I think Gold may be in some big trouble and I wouldn't want to be long at that point at all. And on the Monthly chart, if we can close a month above $440 an ounce, I think we can ride to the highs in the mid $450's and probably break that.
So I think right here we are just in a trading range and I wouldn't be fond of taking a trade either way. Breaking $420 on a close on a weekly chart or closing above $440 on a monthly chart would be bearish or bullish respectively.

$300 Forex Challenge

In the May 27th Alley Cat Newsletter I, had an article that talked about it being possible to turn a $300 Forex account into a $20,000 account and earn $4,000 a month in just 2 years. I will post the monthly results via a screen shot of my Forex account in the Alley Cat Newsletter each month so you can monitor the progress.
In order to reach that goal I need to make 100 pips (roughly) per month and also use good money management. I will trade strictly the Simpleforex.com system and the other strategies mentioned in the Simpleforex ebook. I will ONLY trade during the chat room hours which are currently from 6.30am EST - 10.30am EST (10.30GMT-2.30pm GMT). That way all those subscribers who are members of Simpleforex can watch along side me.

I still haven't had a chance to update the Simpleforex.com website with additional changes. I want to add a Monthly results section, maybe some audio, and change a few things around a bit. With our first baby arriving in only a couple of months, my time over the last few weeks since being back from vacation has consisted of getting the baby room ready (painting, putting furniture together, etc..) and other odds and ends that take place to get ready for a baby. So I haven't had a lot of time to update the site at all. Also I have been doing the trading Chat room in the morning as well. Anyway things look like they will calm down a bit over the next week so hopefully by the next Newsletter I will have the new Simpleforex.com page up. Once it is up the price will be $199. * The Betonmarkets Guru Service Stunk in June after I got back from vacation. Last week I started on a bit of a roll, winning 3 in a row but as of now is just 4-5 for the month of July.

* YMMSS announced that is planning on changing its payout plan. I don't understand it all and supposedly it won't go into effect for months. Hopefully that will be a good sign, though the cycle time currently, I believe, is about 6 months or more. It isn't a program that I would advise getting involved with. Usually over the course of the many years, I have followed HYIP type programs (yes, I understand YMMSS isn't "HYIP" per say but pretty close) but when a program changes its pay out plan, it's not usually a good sign. Time will tell and I wish all those in the program the best.
* Reality Millions, another HYIP, is having some issues. Their site went off-line a couple of weeks ago. Now they are asking for Due Diligence from members. Some are claiming they are looking to steal identities but that's all rumored. What is true is that people aren't able to cash out their positions and it sounds like some stall tactics again. This is not a good sign. I wish the investors the best and hope they get out every dime they put in.
