GOLD PRICES/NEWS

GOLD PRICES have FALLEN HARD, over the last 2 days. $10 an ounce yesterday and $8 today as of this writing. We are below $400 an ounce again and the speed of the decline has left me a bit worried. I still feel Gold will go higher longer term as long as we don't get a close below $390 an ounce. Hopefully Gold prices will stabilize for a continued rally.

Nasdaq Profit Trading Update

April has been a bit more kind to us than March was. Currently our record for April stands at 2 wins and 1 loss. (66%) Here is an example of an Nasdaq Profit Trade (NPT) earlier this week.

The chart you are looking at is Monday April 12th. That day NPT called for the day to be an Up day. Trading on Betonmarkets the trade would be an INTRADAY UP BET from 13.40GMT (9.40am EST) to 19.50GMT (3.50pm EST)

As you can see on the chart it says BUY on the left side of the screen. The price that a person got on Betonmarkets for this trade was 2060.37. So in order to win this trade the Nasdaq needed to be HIGHER than 2060.37 at 19.50GMT (3.50pm EST). If you will look at the right side of the screen you will see it says SELL. That indicates 19.50GMT the price that we received on Betonmarkets at 19.50GMT was 2065.68. Which means the Nasdaq was HIGHER at 19.50GMT than it was at 13.40GMT.

It was a winning bet by 5 pts!!! A person trading futures with the Nasdaq that day following the rules would of actually made a little bit more than that due to the fact you don't have to wait for 10 minutes after the open to buy your contacts. However with Betonmarkets/Xodds you do have to wait.

Each week I will pick one trade to show from the previous trades about NPT. (Some will be winners some will be losers.)

The trades have been very solid and anything over 60% a person can make some good money if they have solid money management.

These trades can be placed through Betonmarkets/Xodds, a Futures broker, or spread trading account.

Each month we will be offering on average 6-8 trades that have a past performance of up/down days of 63% or greater.

When you trade yourself you control your $$$$, if you are tired of HYIP's that change the rules after you invested, or just plain disappear you may want to look into trading for yourself.

U.S Taxes

Tomorrow is the deadline to get your 2003 tax returns into the IRS. If you are self employed or have your own home based business remember to take all the deductions that are legally allowed. You get %'s off your mortgage, take mileage for your driving to and from business related duties. My suggestion is also find a GOOD CPA or a guy that does it full time at least. I went to the Big name franchise tax preparer places for years. Most of the time you don't get a competent person, they treat you like just a #. They also aren't cheap they charge for every little thing each form has a price on it.

I found a good Christian Accountant here locally and I actually paid 30% less than I did last year through one of the "Chain" places, and his knowledge was FAR superior to the Part timers that the Chain Franchises hire during the rush of Tax Season.

GET ORGANIZED TODAY FOR NEXT YEARS TAXES.

I know their was hundreds of dollars in deductions I didn't take this year because I wasn't organized enough. I didn't keep records of mileage etc... So I wasn't able to make those deductions along with other stuff. Altogether I am sure it was an additional $500-$1000 in extra deductions I could of made. Taking a couple hours on a weekend now getting organized can be worth hundreds or Thousands to you next year.

YOUR FINANCES, HYIP AND BIZ OPPS.

It is also a good time to get your finances in order. Know how much you are spending on HYIP's, Biz Opps and how much they are bringing in. Set some goals for your HYIP investing or Business Opportunities. It is fine if you invest $100 a month into different HYIP's but if you don't have a REALISTIC goal set for yourself you don't have an exit point. Which means more than likely years from now you will probably be in the same situation.

Figure out what you want out of your HYIP investments and Biz opportunities. Make sure they are realistic but that they are written down. If you are a $100 investor each month an UNREALISTIC Goal would be...."I want to within 2 months be making $1000 a month from my HYIP investments"

Get specific if you put X amount into a company write down when my investment reaches X% profit I am going to take out 50% of my money. The reason to have those goals is to protect yourself down the road. You could be in a great HYIP and everyone is talking about it so you decide to stay in a couple more months. Than wham the company runs into some programs and your out your investment. With a SPECIFIC Goal set AHEAD of time you limit the spur of the moment urges. HAVE A PLAN!

Same goes for you if you are in a business opportunity. Their are lots of them out their I have my preferences of course. But if you are in one MAKE A SPECIFIC GOAL. Such as........ "I am going to spend $100 per month on advertising my business for the next 4 months" or "I WILL NOT go to bed at night until I spend at least 30 minutes a day doing something to build my business." Goals like "I will sign 1 person in my organization each month" those types of goals are fine but they don't get to the HOW! They need to be specific like the spending $100 a month in advertising or not going to bed until you spend at least 30 minutes working your business in some way.

DON'T BE GENERIC GET SPECIFIC AND GET WHAT YOU WANT!!!

HYIP DUE DILIGENCE

Each company will be in a category. I personally will only invest in the companies that Pass DD.

Who is in the HYIP DD is up to YOU!!! Their are 100's upon 100's of HYIP's and their is no way I can cover them all. So if you know of an HYIP that you would like DD on you can forward their e-mail and website to me so I can send them an e-mail.

MANY HYIP DUE DILIGENCE WEBSITES HAVE FAILED IN THE PAST THIS ONE WILL NOT AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW SOME SIMPLE RULES.

1. NO DAILY PAYING PROGRAMS ALLOWED. I don't care if they have lasted a year plus. I don't like Daily payers and will NOT do DD on them. If a program offers daily, weekly and monthly they are still NOT ALLOWED. I will not deal with Daily payers at all. SO DON'T FORWARD THEM TO ME. The only type of daily payers that I will do is ones like daily trades where they tell you the exact trade they placed and if it wins you win if it loses you lose.

2. I will ONLY accept programs that pay on weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. Which means no daily payers and no programs that take more than 1 month to pay out.

3. The program that you forward to me must have a paying track record of at least 90 days! If it doesn't than don't forward it to me.

4. NO Batch games or coin flip stuff.

5. You may forward me companies only to alleycatdd2@yahoo.com

Why all the rules you ask? Well as I said in the past 98% of all HYIP's are scams or will eventually fail for one reason or another. I put in the rules to eliminate a good portion of the HYIP's out there that fail. (Maybe you think 80-90% fail, bottom line most do and I want to eliminate as many off the bat as possible)

You won't see hundreds of HYIP's listed in the DD section that just isn't going to happen. As I have said many times most HYIPers have less than $2000 to play with which means you shouldn't be in more than 5-10 MAX. anyway. Hopefully over time we will find some solid programs to add to the HYIP DD section.

A note on DD. DUE DILIGENCE DOES NOT EQUAL THE PROGRAM WILL LAST FOREVER. All DD does is weed out some of the scams. People that really want to scam people in HYIP can make false information available via DD etc.. SO NEVER INVEST MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE!! JUST BECAUSE IT PASSES DUE DILIGENCE DOES NOT MEAN ALLEY CAT NEWS ENDORSES THE PROGRAM. WE DO NOT ENDORSE ANY HYIP PROGRAM. INVEST AT YOUR OWN RISK.

If I get DD on a company it means that I have received a copy of a passport/driver's License, phone #, and utility bill with the Admin's address. I will than call the Admin. ask them some questions etc... I will also do some other checking as well.

I have the DD on this program and have spoken with the Admin. Trading is mostly options. I personally have done a $25 spend with the company. (I don't invest a lot into HYIP's I prefer to trade on my own I control my money) You can check out the website for all the details. I have been paid four times now from the company. They have an ad in this weeks Newsletter.

2. WISE GUY GOLD (http://www.wg-gold.com)

I have the DD on this program and have spoken with the Admin. Returns are based on sports betting. I have a $50 with them. They have averaged about 40% a month. You need to do your own money management with the company so don't send your whole investment at once to the company. They will have good/bad weeks so be smart. I do feel they are actually doing the bets, so the risk is with how good of bettors they really are. Only time will tell.

Which personally I feel is WORSE than saying NO to the DD, the reason being if they aren't even willing to respond, than they won't respond to their investors either when times get tough. I had a person that I hired for the Alley Cat Job that I mentioned last week. She didn't read the information on the job description correctly and thought payment was $50 per week. The pay is $50 per month and the work consists of roughly 1-2 hours a week. She decided it wasn't worth her time so she QUIT. She was a nice lady and has some knowledge of the industry so I have no hard feelings.

The starting pay is $50 per month as I said it is roughly 1-2 hours a week some weeks will be less than that really just depends on the HYIP industry. The $50 a month will probably go up a bit after a little while on the job and I get to know the person. BUT THIS ISN'T A FULL TIME JOB or Even a big part time job. The average HYIP investor who has $2000 or less to invest shouldn't be in more than 5-10 different programs to start off. And there are enough of those good programs out there that will allow Due Diligence, actually trade/gamble/pool your funds. I mean if your really looking to make money in the industry why mess with the scam programs. If you don't want to trade yourself, at least pick decent programs that ACTUALLY Invest YOUR money.
